Ok, so I broke my pinky swear

Darn it! I did not mean to break my pinky swear to post regularly. Here we are in September already. I do have a good excuse though. I am a very busy person at the moment. Besides working full time and taking care of Mia, I am also taking an online program for medical assisting. It is a full time program and it keeps me really busy. My day goes as follows: wake up, get ready for work, get Mia ready for daycare, work, get Mia and go home to cook dinner, play with my girl until her bed time, tuck her into bed, study study study, sleep. It is a 10 month program, with the last two months doing a clinical rotation and externship. I am very excited and can't wait to start. I am at work right now and have no time to write more so I will try and get on again soon. Hey, welcome to my crazy life ;)

The Vows

So, to catch people up, I did, in fact, marry my high school sweetheart. We started dating October 1995 and are still together. Crazy, I know. In all those years we definitely had our ups and downs and major obstacles, but here we are. So June 3, 2006 we exchanged vows in our favorite place to visit, Baltimore, inner harbor. We were married outside on a hill that overlooked the entire harbor, then had dinner at a fabulous restaurant right on the water. It was one of those days that when I look back, seems all a blur, like did it really happen? It was a wonderful day, one I will never forget, even if it is all a bit fuzzy :) The following weekend we had a great picnic and invited both our large families and friends to celebrate. The DJ's sucked but we had a great time anyway. So this is the first update on what has been happening with me. Side note: No matter how much you love each other, marriage is NEVER as easy as it may seem.

WOW!!!!

WOW!!!! So where the heck did the time go? There has been so much going on that I don't know where to begin. Most people would say the beginning is a great place to start, maybe they are right ;). So here we are coming up on the 4th of July and I am getting ready to celebrate with my family. Fireworks this year should be interesting because Mia (who is 2) has only ever seen the small fireworks people use in their own backyards. She has never seen (or heard) a full-on firework display. Boy is she in for a treat :D. So since there is a lot to fill you in on and I am currently at work, I am making a promise to you now that I will post a new blog every week telling you about something that is or has happened in my life. Pinky swear.
